As previously introduced, Japanese label, Diet Butcher Slim Skin, is into producing overstated and flashy punk-inspired kicks. Continuing the success of the silhouette from its popular Patent Leather Hi-Top Trainers with over-sized tongue from last season, the label is back with another pair of theatrical Studded Hi-Top Sneakers. Gone are the overflowing padded tongue, but the new dramatic touch is a patch of studs lined up around the ankle wrap.

Without the oversized tongue, the studded trainers are considerably slimmer in terms of silhouette, and the thick laces adds a nice contrast to the new shape. The sneakers continue to feature thick soles for pressure support and its perforated upper is made entirely out of cow-hide. It comes in three colorways, white with silver studs, black and white with silver studs and a considerably toned down black with black studs.

These shoes are now available for pre-order on Glaice till May 7 and will be delivered sometime after September. Punk rock will still be a definite influence this coming Autumn/ Winter, so pick them up for your dark denim and remember to tuck parts of your denim in to show off the studded ankle the way they are meant to be worn.
